LG Mocked Sony And Samsung In LCD TV Delivers its 3D
Korean manufacturer, LG wants to establish himself as a leader in bringing their 3D LCD TVs than its main competitors, Sony and Samsung. Based on media reports from the Korea Times, LG is now aggressive in her film technology patented Patterned Retarder (FPR) which claimed to be capable of displaying images with a sharper quality than competitors' solutions without the use of 3D Glasses.
"Hey Sony and Samsung, remind us why people need those heavy, battery-burdened, left-right blinkety-sync 3D glasses?"
LG said it has increased its budget for her campaign for 3D LCD TV. They openly mocking Samsung and Sony in their advertisements that were presented in the latest edition of USA Today. In the previous ads in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, LG is also stated that Samsung and Sony move from 3D to 2D. No comment yet from Samsung or Sony about this, given their TVs 3D solution uses active-shutter 3D technology that is claimed to show a clearer picture while still using the 3D Glasses are still expensive, heavy, and requires batteries to operate.
