Intel will release 17 Xeon Sandy Bridge-E In Q4 2011

At the end of this year, Intel will deliver a new server platform with the name Romley-EP dual-socket platform with dual Intel Xeon processor 2600 Series E5 using the Sandy Bridge architecture-E. E5 Xeon 2600 Series has a number of Core 2, 4, 6, and 8 Core with a maximum speed of 3.1GHz, 20MB L3 cache, and use LGA 2011 as the desktop platform of the Sandy Bridge-E.

E5 Series is the lowest Xeon 2637 Dual Core 3GHz, 5MB of L3 cache, 80W TDP, HT, and Turbo Boost. On it there are Entry Level Quad-Core Xeon E5 E5 2603 and 2609 with clock 1.8GHz and 2.4GHz, 80W TDP, support for DDR3 RAM maximum in 1066, without a Turbo Boost and Hyper Threading. Highest Series Quad Core Xeon E5 2643 with clock is 3.3GHz, 10MB L3 Cache, HT, Turbo Boost, DDR3 1600.

Switch on the Xeon 2620 E5, E5 2630, 2630L E5, E5 2640 E5 2667 and all of which is series 6 Core with 15MB cache, supports HT and Turbo Boost, has a speed of 2GHz to 2.9GHz, TDP 60W (2630L), 95W (2620 , 2630, 2640) and 130W (2667).



The last is 8 8 Core Xeon processor with 20MB L3 Cache, HT, Turbo Boost, starting from E5 Xeon 2650, 2650L E5, E5 2660, E5 2665, 2670 E5, E5 2680, 2687W and E5 E5 2690, with 70W TDP up to 150W for E5 2690 3.1GHz highest series. There has been no pricing information from all E5 Xeon processor 2600 Series.
