AMD has just announced it has begun to market their very first CPU-based architecture Bulldozer. A thing that awaited by lovers of AMD. But wait, the CPU is not for desktop PCs, but "Interlagos", version of the server from Bulldozer with G34 socket, dual-die dual-core MCM with 8 blocks with a total of 16 integer and 8 FP units with names 6100TM Series Opteron AMD which, according to this Core 16 is the first processor in the world.
Interlagos is intended for dual / quad socket platform with a clock which is 25% lower than the desktop version of AMD's Bulldozer. AMD designed the Interlagos to handle parallel tasks than heavy task because Interlagos is not the type of per-core processors with high performance such as desktop version, and with a clock which is 25% lower than the desktop version, AMD's TDP of the processor can adjust this. From the rumors that circulated later this month AMD will present the single die version with a faster clock.
